The lesson for my book is, Never give up. I think that's what it is at least, the reason I think like this is because no matter who the enemy is or what type of challenge he is facing he never backs down. That is why I think that Never back down is what they are trying to convay.
ReplyDeletemy books lesson was also never give up even in the darkest of times
DeleteSounds like a good book that has grit and fight.
DeleteMy book could also have the lesson "Never Give Up". Ashley survived out in this timber for 12 days with absolutely nothing and she never gave up even though she wanted to.
DeleteIn my novel, the narrator remains a nameless character who never gives up on her husband, even though she learns that he murdered his former wife.
DeleteIn my novel they have to never give up to survive.
DeleteI feel like my author is doing the same with alisha along with be yourself
DeleteI think my book is going towards a never give up theme because when Beah goes on all these adventures and he has to fight his way to where he’s going.
DeleteI can agree that in both of our books that no matter the situation my main character gets into, she doesn't back down.
DeleteI can relate my book because the lessons or themes of out book has the same motive of never quitting and never giving up and my main character jimmy is trained to never back down.
Deletemy books lessons are also the same my main charter has to survive in the woods on his own and has to fight for his life
Deletei feel like my book can relate to never giving up because even though they know whats in store for them they keep pushing themselves
Deletemy book is science fiction so there's not really a lesson so if i had to make a lesson I would say its that you should appreciate what you have because the main character is owned by the government the purpose of the book is author wanted to tell his made up story
ReplyDeleteJack Recker
My book also has a lesson to appreciate what you have because the man and the boy never had much but they were ok with what they had
Deletei would say appericate what you have and take what comes to you
DeleteAshley my main character probably never thought going to this party she would get stranded out there for 12 days, so she definitely had to appreciate what she had!
DeleteThe lesson in my book is never give up. I think this because the man and the boy could've given up and died but they kept on moving and they never gave up even when things got rough. I think the lesson they wanted to teach the reader is to never give up even when things aren't looking too good
ReplyDeleteMy book is similar in where he is stuck in a hopeless situation but he never gives up and continues to fight
Deletei think i would enjoy your book
DeleteThe narrator in my novel goes through rough times as well. She learns to find her voice and overcome her shyness in dealing with the staff as the new wife of the wealthy Maxim de Winter. The staff continues to follow the same routine as the former Mrs. de Winter, and she feels they do not take her seriously.
DeleteYeah they never gave up because they had eachother to live for.
Deletealisha never gave up and did what he wanted after he had enough of debra
DeleteMy book is also to never give up. Sounds like a good book to read
DeleteI beleive this fits with my book perfect the town got leveled by a tornado and nobody gave up and everyone made it!
DeleteI can relate this to a scene in my book where jimmy and his partner are doing a buddy breathing exercise in the pool and one of the drill sergeants puts his hand overtop of the snorkel they are passing back an forth and the thought of dying crossed jimmys mind and he couldve quit right then and there but he didnt.
DeleteI think the lesson of my book American Sniper by Chris Kyle is to never give up no matter what happens. He fought for his life for many years in the service and comes home and tries to help people that are in the same situation as him feeling alone and afraid in there own shadow. wounded war vets that chris helped to try to make there life better.
ReplyDeleteMy theme is similar by how no matter what situation you are in just keep fighting and never give up.
DeleteI've watched the movie but I haven't read the book but from what the movie showed us I would have to agree with you with never giving up on anyone and fight for what you believe is right.
Deletemy theme is similar to yours because my books focuses on courage and showed how Michael never gave up on anything and pulled through in the end
Deletemy theme is kind of like that, so no matter what situation your faces in dont give up.
DeleteMy book is also to never give up which your book is about fighting and mine is about escaping fires
DeleteMy author wrote the story Sweetness. I believe he wrote the book to show the impact Walter left on the game of football and of life. This novel really hits home for me because he is one of my favorite and most inspiring athletes of all time and he truly was Sweetness.
ReplyDeletewho is walter
DeleteSounds like a very good book
DeleteThe authors purpose of my book is survival. Ashley had to survive outdoors for 12 days. She came up with some pretty amazing ways on how to survive and had also succeeded. She found unique places to sleep, things to eat, and water to drink that I could have never done!
ReplyDeleteMin e is the same but trying to keep people alive.
DeleteIf i were in this situation, I dont think I would be able to find anything to survive with.
DeleteMy book is similar because it shows the struggle of a person lost at sea.
DeleteThere was a survival point in my book to everyone had to run for cover before the tornado came.
DeleteMy book also has a major survival aspect to it as my main character is doing everything in his power to survive the Holocaust and Nazi labor camps.
DeleteMy book was kinda that way too. The kid Beah was in the forest and had to try to survive and eat so he had to teach himself to climb coconut trees. He has to try to stay alive throughout all these things he goes through.
DeleteMy book has a similar survival tone as the main characters are trying to get through battle school.
DeleteJack Recker
The author's purpose in writing the novel, Rebecca, is that it is not wise to begin a new love interest/relationship unless you have completely gotten over your former relationship. Also, really know the person you marry, because you don't want to have a loveless, faithless marriage where you are truly miserable. Because of these two main purposes, the second Mrs. de Winter remains nameless in the novel as she lacks importance in her relationship with her husband. His former wife, Rebecca, is the dominant person in this novel. Even though she is dead, Rebecca seems to keep the new husband and wife from nurturing their relationship as, the husband, Maxim, cannot control his feelings of guilt in killing Rebecca.
ReplyDeleteThe main theme of the novel Michael Vey: Prisoner of cell 25 would have to be courage and be loyal to friends Michael Vey must find the courage to rescue his mother knowing that he is going to have to make tough decisions along the way. Throughout the book Michael resists the punishments from Doctor Hatch that almost kills him to stay loyal to his friends to the end.
ReplyDeletehe realy must be a loyal guy.
DeletePayson Hofstetter
DeleteIn my book Dear Martin Justyce had to have courage throughout the book to make a difference.
i think that the lesson that the author is trying to teach is that no matter what you do you must always take reposability. througout the book he knows what he is doing and knows what the outcome would be of robbing a bank. therefor he knows that if he shoots somebody he would go to jail for a long time and therefor he never shoots nobody, but no matter what he does he must go to jail for robbing a bank. so at the trail he confeses everything and tell that he takes the resposability but also says he never shot nobody. which he ask the judge to consider that.
ReplyDeletethat sounds like a book that would be really easy to relate to.
Deletethis is kind of like mine when he is asked to prove his loyal to hatch he had to kill wade other wise they were going to kill his mother. he knew that he didn't choose something bad would happen but since wade was his friend Michael decided to go after hatch but was punished for choosing it because his loyalty to his friend
DeleteMy book is also like that in a way
DeleteI think the authors purpose is that being at different hostage situations is very scary and is very stressful. Throughout the book he explains on what is happening and what he thinks of what his coworkers think. I noticed that he shares somewhat of no emotion in the small situations but as the big situations he expresses them.
ReplyDeleteThat is very interesting, if i were in a situation like that I know I would be scared.
DeleteThe lesson that i think he was trying to get across was that love overpowers everything. Love for his son was what kept The man alive and the boys love for the man kept him alive. You can keep going and stay strong if you are doing it for love.
ReplyDeletePayson Hofstetter
DeleteI can connect my book from how love keeps the man alive in your book and in mine knowing how to fight for himself kept him alive.
my book is also like a fight to not die to the other people
DeleteMy book also like this, love kept the two main people together to find the killer and not try to put it on each other.
DeletePayson Hofstetter
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of the book I read was to show and talk about inequality that is happening everywhere. The author wants to show how bad cops or people harass minorities. The lesson I have learned was that stand up for what you believe in because throughout the book Justyce stood up for the black community even when some of the black community didn't stand up for him.
My book related in some way as well because it incorporated issues that we have today as well, like rape for instance.
DeleteThe purpose of the book I read was to spread awareness about Tourette's syndrome. The author wanted to show that even though we are all different in our own ways, it doesn't give us the right to be mean to each other.
ReplyDeleteMy author also wanted to show that everyone is different and there is nothing wrong with being different.
Deletei think the purpose of this book is to let people know how importin the code talkers were during world war two. if it wasn't for them the war would have went on way longer. the natives were the one who saved the war for the United states.
ReplyDeleteI think that was a great purpose for the book because not many people know how much the code talkers help the US.
DeleteIn the book The Cabin I think the main purpose is not to blindly trust everyone. In the book a group of friends spend the weekend in a cabin and two people get murdered, the police say no one broke in either. So it had to be one of them in the group, but the main character trusts everyone too much that she doesn't believe any of them did it. Eventually she starts to learn as everyone falls apart she really doesn't know her friends truly, everyone was keeping huge secrets from her and then in the end the killer was one of her friends.
ReplyDeletejeesh man! sonds very scary and intense just like mine! where V for VENDETTA, goes around to kill a lot of nazi guards.
DeleteIn As A Driven Leaf the author is trying to point out that if you have people trying to control who you are you just ignore them don associate with people trying to ruin your life and your choices by making Alisha my main character leave his wife Debra who was trying to control his life and religion
ReplyDeleteIn the book I survived the California wildfires i think the main purpose is to never give up because he doesn’t give up and finally made it out of the fire. Another think could be friends will help you in rough times because when they were stuck in the fire they both helped eachother to get out and wouldnt have made it if they both werent there
ReplyDeleteI think my book is also trying to say never give up alsa and i think thats a common theme in books about struggles with nature like a wild fire or being stuck at sea.
DeleteMy books main goal is to also never give up, and I feel like survival is also a big theme for our books. They are surviving through a fire in your book and in my book they are surviving the Holocaust.
DeleteI think if the author of The Voyage of the Frog was trying to convey a message, it would be to never give up. David goes through so many hardships while stranded at sea. he could have just gave up and died out on the water, hundreds of miles from land, but he didn't. He kept going through his physical and emotional pain and it all paid off in the end when he was given food by a larger ship and sailed home.
ReplyDeleteIn the book The Road the author makes never giving up. The whole book they face many challenges that most people would've given up, but they never gave up. That's how I think the book relate.
DeleteSounds like a very interesting book.
DeleteI am reading The War Below and I thing its main message is to never give up and persevere through the hardships. Luka is captured by the Nazi's multiple time and each time he got caught he never gave up, and ended up escaping. He escaped a "sealed" train car, labor camp, and a truckload of people on the way to the gas chambers. He also persevered through it all and found his friend Lida, whom which he met on his first night after being kidnapped.
ReplyDeletemy book has a bit to do with your book, like, there was nazis in the area and there still is, but there is still killing everywhere.
DeleteMy book also dealt with Nazi germany
DeleteMy book kind of has the message dont give up in a historical context. That being said we stayed in Vietnam for many years and before that we supplied the French and the South Vietnamese we didnt want to give up on the independence of South Vietnam and stopping the spread of communist North Vietnam.
DeleteI feel like the authors purpose in my book was to show the readers that no matter what someone has there back in a small community in a small community everyone knows everyone and they help each other out. Also I think the golden rule was in place in this book and that is treat others how you would want to be treated.
ReplyDeletei would love to have this small community back in the real world! sounds like a great book.
Deletey theme is basically the exact opposite in that it is saying that you should always watch your back. Anyone can turn against you and you wouldn't even know it.
DeleteI think that the authors purpose was to show how children are recruited to fight in wars around the world. They give the children drugs and show them violent films, they are brainwashing them. I think he wanted me to learn that not everything goes to plan and not everything is perfect. As all the adventures all the boys go through especially Beah, always something went wrong along the way and that shows that everything happens for a reason.
ReplyDeletesounds very scary yet interesting.
DeleteThis sounds interesting. My book is similar as it is children taught to fight in alien wars.
DeleteJack Recker
My book is similar because both books cover war.
Deletethis could definitely relate to my book, and also where we live at in our community.
Deletei think my authors trying to tell us that there are scary creepy people out there anything can happen at any time. like the man in her window at night. and i think the author is also telling us to watch what you say to people because the girlfriend has an emotional convo ro old jake and the girlfriend didnt know that was him and she ended up telling him that jake was some creeper that he just met at a stupid bar. then old jake goes outside to kill himself.
ReplyDeleteMine also has that same feeling
DeleteMy book is filled with distrust in people and has a creepy feeling at some points
DeleteI believe that the purpose of my book is to be yourself. Everyone is different and that is okay. A lesson that showed this purpose is when Celina came to term with herself about being able to see the unknown. She told herself that she shouldn't have to hide who she is and should be proud of it.
ReplyDeleteso i really don't know what the theme or lesson of my book is, cuz there is always death band killing. so, i would assume that the lesson would be to always be on the lookout for strange things and to not judge a person by its cover.
ReplyDeleteMy book Never Quit there is a broad lesson that is obviously to never quit, I believe this is the lesson because the main character jimmy hits a real low after he finds out about his heart condition and nearly kills his running career and being a shoe salesman had little to no pride and he fell into a depression and got out of it after finding hope in becoming a Pararescue Jumper, along with that he talks about how much he wanted to quit throughout his training 'pipeline' but he never did and lastly because the book is named after that phrase never quit, I think that the author wanted to get the point across that no matter how hard life gets and how deep of a hole you've dug there is always a way out and you can only reach so low.
ReplyDeleteMy book the road shows to never give up in the book, when they are close to starving, or close to dying they never give up.
Deletethe girl in my story never gave up either, she found a way to overcome her fear of starting a new school!
Deletethe main character in my book never gave up on his family
DeleteThe theme throughout the book is survival. Throughout the book all they deal with is trying to live and they get close to dying sometimes. They got close to starving and close to being killed by groups of people. I think that the boy learns to never give up and who to trust and not trust in the world they live in.
ReplyDeletemy story reminded me of survival too! my book was a story of overcoming your fears and surviving in a new place!
Deletemy book was also about survival a 13 year old lived in the wilderness for several weeks all alone.
Deletemy book is about survival too
DeleteThe authors purpose in BlitzKrieg to Defeat was to educate readers on the war directives of Nazi Germany. Because the entire book was informative everything that Germany did in the war was in the book.
ReplyDeleteThat is the same in my book but I wonder if yours is more his battle strategy.
Deletemy book is just like yours because it is just a history book
DeleteThe book I read is The Rise nd Fall of Adolf Hitler by William Shirer And the main point of the book is to inform the reader about how Hitler became one of the most powerful people in the world. I think the author was also trying to show how he grew up like a normal kid and his parents were good people.
ReplyDeletemy book was like yours in the way it was just a history book.
Deletemy book can relate to yours because my point of view is from the jews in the camps
DeleteI think Stephen King wanted to put out to everyone that the impossible is always possible. I say that because in the beginning the police jumped to convict someone but about halfway through the book they find out it wasnt him it was actually some super human entity; sadly they couldnt do anything about it though because they made such a big deal about the guy they convicted that he was actually shot on the courthouse stairs heading to his trial.
ReplyDeleteMy author was really trying to teach history about the Iraq and Iran in the 70's and 80's and they also talked about how much other countries got in involved and tried to have them be influenced a certain way. this book really didn't have like a setting it was a history book there was no emotion.
ReplyDeleteMy book was the same way but about the Vietnam war.
Deletethats an intresting time of the country
DeleteI think both of our books were about how bad people and what they do when they get too much power.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the author of my book was trying to entertain. My book didn't really have a purpose, it was just a fun read. The ending was no surprise and didn't really get any point across. i think this author wrote this book to entertain high school and middle school students who could possibly connect to the story.
ReplyDeletei believe the main theme of this book is family because the main family has been trapped underground for 6 years except for one son. throughout the book they try to reconnect with that son and get to know him better.
ReplyDeletei can kinda relate to that because my character and his father are trying to stay together with everything thats happening to them
DeleteI can kind of relate to the theme of family because the characters in my book have grown up together literally their whole life and call each other their brothers and sisters. Even after they make it out of the base a few of them stay really close.
DeleteIn my book the author was trying to tell us that anyone can do anything. brain the main charter in my book had to survive in the woods after a plain crash. brain had to find ways to catch food and stay alive in the woods for several weeks. brain is 13 and he lived in the woods off of the land with nobody's help. I think the author was trying to motivative us all.
ReplyDeletei feel the theme of my book was similar because in my book they do all these things before they die that they normally wouldnt do so i feel it showed they can do anything if they want to
DeleteIn my book the author wanted to explain everything behind the Vietnam conflict including what happened before we got involved, what was going on during our involvement, and what happened in Vietnam after we pulled our troops out. The book went very in depth as to the the battles, the troop counts, what happened, and even how many bombs were dropped. I believe the author wanted to show the true reasons why we did get involved in something that was completely not our fight.
ReplyDeletei believe the main theme is survival. i say this because elie is trying to survive the torcher of the camp leaders and having to sleep out in the cold or in a train car with smelly dead bodies. with this i feel like my character learned that its not easy to keep your head up but to keep going and it will eventually get easier.
ReplyDeletemy book is the same because the both learn how to survive
DeleteThe lessons of both of our books are similar because they both have a lot of surviving they they need to do to stay alive and make it out.
DeleteI think the main theme is about survival I think this because he got in a plane crash and now he has to survive in the wood to stay alive and has to learn to hunt and make his own camp
ReplyDeletei believe the theme of my book is to get out of your comfort zone, and do what scares you. the characters in my book are told they are going to die and they live out the last day they have doing what they wish they did before.
ReplyDeletethe purpose of my book (overlord) is purely entertainment. it doesn't have any kind lessons or meaning. its just a story for you to read and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThe overall theme of my book, A Thousand Acres is that even family can turn on you when you least expect it. They may have all been family, but in the end, almost everyone managed to turn against at least one person. Ginny even tried to manage to poison her sister Rose with some poisoned sausage. I think that the authors purpose was to teach you that you should always watch your back.
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of my book (I believed in a thing called love) is entertainment and romance. The lesson its ok not be good at everything there will be some struggles and weaknesses along the way. During my book she has over come a lot of drama and embarrassing situations, but she still has gotten through them.
ReplyDeleteI think in my book the lesson is to keep going no matter what happens. The characters are traveling down a road and the goal for them is to go down south. They dont give up and i believe they will eventually make it
ReplyDeleteI believe that the lesson my author tried to teach throughout this book is to never give up. All of the “brothers and sisters” in my book have had to fight hard to get past what they have endured from Father John and his Centurions. They even had to fight for their lives more than once. Now they are in a mental institution and getting the mental help that they need to go on out into the real world.
ReplyDeletethis sounds like a very good book, sounds like something that could happen in my book.
Deletein the book Chinese handcuffs I think that the lesson is you never know what someone could be going through behind closed doors, there are a lot of things that happened throughout this book that relate to this lesson, like when people die or crazy things like that.
ReplyDeleteIn my book Rangers Apprentice the main theme throughout the whole book was to be thankful for what you have and not be greedy. Damon the commander was a high ranking general and yet he wanted more and he created a small rebellion to get the throne. I think that flannagan was trying to teach us that you have to be thankful for what you have
ReplyDeleteThe authors purpose to write all these poems was to get them out to people that have been in the same situations so that they know that they are not alone. She wants us to learn about the lesson she learned so then the reader can save themselves.
ReplyDelete
